When we celebrate LGBTQ+ culture, we celebrate the courage to live authentically. And at the very core of that fight for authenticity stands the transgender community.
Right now, transgender individuals—especially trans women of color—face disproportionate rates of violence, discrimination in housing and employment, and attacks on their access to gender-affirming care. To love LGBTQ culture is to defend trans existence.
